Well, a huge thanks to everyone who bought tickets for the two books being raffled on Ebay. The items ended yesterday with a total of 969 tickets sold.

This, along with the £1900 (prior to Ebay and PayPal fees) from the auction of Book 3 has raised a massive amount of money for the Mercy Centre Foundation but we're not stopping there. The first lot of individual donations are up for grabs :-

Jonathan Weiner - "Watch Dogs"

Jonathan Weiner - "Tranquil Aftermath"

Jeff Soto - "Tres Flores"

Rene Gagnon - "Mona Bubble"

David Choe - "Falling From Grace"

Angel 41 - "Gimme Some Skin"

Dog Byte - "Bomb Boy"

iAmCxxx - "Am I In A Film When Does It End?"

The second lot of work to be auctioned will be available to bid on from Tuesday 11th November.

Good luck and thank you for your support.

Bloody Ebay!!!

As some of you will have noticed the two sketchbooks were pulled by Ebay after being reported for containing the word Banksy in the description.

We give our apologies but as you'll hopefully understand, this was out of our hands.

But the good news is that they are now back online:

Book 1: HERE

Book 2: HERE

I must stress that ALL previous raffle entries are still valid.

Thank you,

Ged and Neil

GO, GO, GO!!!

In case you hadn't already noticed, 2 of the books are now on Ebay, but, due to Ebay rules they can't be advertised as raffles and so a plan was hatched. To get round this minor problem you are 'purchasing' a sticker for £5 and we will then enter your details in to a draw to win the book from the list you bought the sticker from. Now ofcourse we won't be sending out any stickers, this is purely to get round Ebays rules, but if you really really want one then let us know and we'll send one out to you.

The third book is temporaily in cyber space while Neil trys to reason with the stiff necks at Ebay HQ over the book being pulled from it's original auction. Please bear with us while it gets sorted, all should resume asap.

Please buy tickets.....sorry, stickers below and remember, be as generous as you can:

Book 1

Book 2

For those that may have forgotten, here's a little reminder of all the amazing artists and galleries who have donated their time and effort in helping the MCF appeal.

"Open & Shut"

This years Open & Shut sketch pads have been put together to help raise funds for the Mercy Centre Foundation

http://www.mercycentre.org/

This is the first of what we hope to be many annual appeals for a different charity each year. Each year will take the format of three sketch pads that will be sent to a group of artists to produce works of their choice to help raise funds for the nominated charity. Next years event will include a limited edition book of the works produced.

This year’s contributors and people of immense generosity are as follows.

The Main Event

The three books will be auctioned on Ebay with auctions commencing the 11.10.2008 and running for 30 days.

Books 1 & 2 will be raffled on Ebay with each ticket costing £5.00 and with payment strictly by Paypal. The auction will be listed as 100% donation to charity and the payments will be made directly to the Paypal account of the registered charity. In this way we minimise fees and maximise the contribution to the nominated charity. People are more than welcome to buy more than one ticket and the unique reference number issued by Paypal will be used in the raffle process. The two winners will be announced on or around the 18.11.2008.

Book 3 will be auctioned on Ebay with the auction again commencing on the 11.10.2008 and running for 20 days. Payment for this book will be by Paypal or Cheque only. Any Paypal payment will again be made directly to the Paypal account of the registered charity and with all cheques being made out directly to the charity.

Donations – Several Galleries and Artists made very kind separate donations. These will all be auctioned as individual items on Ebay during the month of Oct-08. Payment for these donations will be by Paypal or Cheque only. Any Paypal payment will again be made directly to the Paypal account of the registered charity and with all cheques being made out directly to the charity.
